Questions we get a lot

Which AI agents does ClaimSentry support?
ClaimSentry can test any agent with an HTTP API. Out of the box it supports GPT-4 and GPT-4o (OpenAI), Claude 3 and Claude 4 (Anthropic), Gemini (Google), Grok (xAI), Mistral, and any Groq-hosted model. If your agent speaks the OpenAI-compatible API format — including internal or self-hosted models — it works. Our MCP server is compatible with Claude Desktop, Cursor, and any MCP-capable client, giving those agents read access to your official claims in real time.
How is my brand data protected?
Every customer runs in a fully isolated instance — there is no shared database, no multi-tenant risk. Your API keys for challenged agents never touch the browser; all LLM calls route through our backend. Your MCP endpoint is read-only by design, exposing only the claims you explicitly mark as published. On Brand and Enterprise plans, you can add IP allowlists and ingress rate limiting. Enterprise customers get a dedicated VPC-level deployment with their own encryption keys.
How exactly do agent challenges work?
For each verified claim, ClaimSentry generates a natural-language question — "What is the certified battery range of this vehicle?" — and sends it to the configured AI agent. An independent judge LLM (your own or ours) then grades the agent's response against the ground-truth claim, returning one of six verdicts: match (fully accurate), omission (agent didn't address it), over-engagement (agent asserted more than the truth), under-engagement (partially correct with hedging), wrong-perimeter (answered about a different product or scope), or contradiction (agent denied the claim). Your credibility score counts confirmed vs. contradicted claims — only clear positions affect the score.
Can I bring my own LLM API key (BYOK)?
Yes, BYOK is available on Brand and Enterprise plans. You designate any OpenAI-compatible agent in the UI as the Internal Judge — its API key, endpoint, and model are used for both claim extraction and verdict grading. Supported providers include OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq, Mistral, xAI, and any OpenAI-compatible self-hosted endpoint. When BYOK is configured, your brand data and LLM calls never touch ClaimSentry's model budget.
What happens when an agent fails a claim?
The moment a verdict shifts from match to anything else, a drift alert fires — email on Starter, Slack or webhook on Brand and Enterprise. The failing case is logged with the full agent response, the verdict, and the exact source excerpt that defines the correct claim. On the next challenge run, ClaimSentry tracks whether the agent self-corrected or the drift persists. Enterprise customers receive a legal-grade PDF audit trail that timestamps every verdict change — suitable for compliance reporting, internal audits, or regulatory review.
